| ADULTS CHARACTER - USING BIBLICAL VALUES LEARNING TOOLS Ted Zabel is offering this 3 hour workshop is entitled THE QUEST FOR GOOD CHARACTER - USING BIBLICAL VALUES. The focus is on 1. discovering 31 lifetime values, 2. searching out these values in the Book of Luke, 3. putting values into practice, 4. sharing value stories - the "Wow Factor", 5. scrapbooking and journaling values for practical living. The target groups are families, teachers, leaders of children/youth. LOCAL CHURCH TRAINER CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
Until now a Certified Regional Trainer was
required to present the material. This limited the ways in which the
training could be utilized by local churches. Now, your church can have
its own Local Church Trainers (LCT) with just one
day of certification and some homework. Working with the pastoral staff,
a plan can be developed to provide this foundational training for
newcomers to the congregation, as part of the disciplemaking curricula
and as a component of the leader development track.

| CHILDREN PRESCHOOL STORY TIME: CULTIVATING RELATIONSHIPS Designed to meet the needs of parents with preschool aged children. The program works in a similar manner to the library's story time. The children are seated on the floor and a story teller proceeds to read several stories along a similar theme. They are not necessarily religious stories, but may help the kids with numbers, colors, fire safety, when a local fire department supplies firefighters with a fire truck to talk to the kids.
